Site MaintenanceOur maintenance process is a slimmed down version of our production process, and is designed to handle smaller maintenance jobs. These can range from minor updates to bug fixes, and usually are no more than two or three hour tasks. We also have an avenue for emergency or urgent requests. There are times when action on your site must be completed immediately, and we do have resources that are available to accomplish this work. All maintenance requests are kept in a central job tracking system. This system allows for all resources and emails to be stored in one place, and also tracks the time worked on the request for future billing. Each request is estimated before the work is started, and the hours worked are measured against the estimate to ensure we are managing costs properly. Each month, we take any time worked on production and maintenance tasks and place it on a monthly invoice. Since jobs often span several months, our system keeps a separate running total across all months. So that even though invoices are sent out on a monthly basis, the time is tracked on a request by request basis. Stats and traffic reportingWe use Google Analytics for our stats package. We have been using this system for many years, and have become experts in its operation. We will work with you to determine what information you are most interested in knowing, and ensure that the system is set up to collect the desired information. Furthermore, Google Analytics provides for regular emailing of top level reporting so that you can monitor site traffic conveniently. |
